The short version: Our apps don't require an account, we don't sell your data, and we don't track you. What you create in our apps stays on your device unless you choose to share it.
Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how TakeReady LLC ("TakeReady", "we", "us") handles information in connection with this website and the mobile apps we publish (each an "App"). The general sections apply to all of our Apps. Details specific to each App are listed under App-specific details. If you have questions, contact us at support@takereadyllc.com.
Information we collect
Unless an App's section below says otherwise, our Apps do not ask you to create an account and do not collect your name, email address, location, or contacts. Content you create in an App is stored on your device and is not sent to us.
If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use it only to respond to you.
Purchases
Some Apps offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions, such as a Premium upgrade. These are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple tells us only that a purchase was made so the App can unlock the feature.
iCloud and device backups
If you have iCloud backup turned on, Apple may back up App data as part of your device backup. That data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, and we cannot access it.
Analytics and crash reports
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. If you choose to share diagnostics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you.
Tracking and advertising
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, do not show ads, and do not sell or share personal information.
Our website
This website does not use cookies or analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
Children's privacy
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention and deletion
Because App content is stored on your device, you control it. Deleting it in the App, or deleting the App, removes it from your device. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Since we hold very little, the simplest way to exercise these rights is to email support@takereadyllc.com.
App-specific details
TakeReady – Teleprompter Camera
- Scripts you type or paste are stored on your device. We do not receive them.
- Videos you record are saved on your device and, if you choose, to your Photos library. We do not upload or receive them.
- Camera access is used to record video while showing your script.
- Microphone access is used to record audio with your video.
- Photos access is used only to save your recordings, if you choose to.
Camera and microphone input is processed on your device to create your recording. It is not sent to us or to any third party. You can change these permissions any time in your iPhone's Settings.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, for example when we release a new App, we will update the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
